POSITION:    Permanent Substitute Teacher- October 9, 2026- June 25, 2027

                        Four Days Weekly

 

 

LOCATION:  East Islip High School

 

REQUIREMENTS:   New York State K-12 or 7-12 Certification required

 

SALARY:   as per CBA

School Monitors

part-time position

3 hours per day at all school buildings

starting salary $19.56 per hour

         

School Teacher Aides

full-time position

6 hours per day at elementary schools

6.5 hours per day at middle and high schools

starting salary $20.26 per hour

 

Special Education Aides

full-time position

6 hours per day at elementary schools

6.5 hours per day at middle and high schools

District Special Ed Aide course required

First Aid and CPR certification required

starting salary $20.26 per hour

 

Substitute Paraprofessionals

call-in position as needed in any of the school building

could be for any of the above positions

salary $17.00 per hour
