Permanent Substitute Teacher Positions – Part-time

 

DESCRIPTION: Elementary and Secondary Levels.  Permanent substitutes will be assigned to a home building and placed where needed.

 

LOCATIONS:    

Connetquot Elementary School

John F. Kennedy Elementary School

Ruth C. Kinney Elementary School

Timber Point Elementary School

East Islip Middle School

East Islip High School

SCHEDULE:       Four (4) days per week – as scheduled by building administrators

EFFECTIVE:       2026 – 2027 School Year

REQUIREMENT:        New York State Teaching Certification

COMPENSATION:      Per Diem Substitute Contract Salary

$137 per day
Substitute Teacher

Certified Substitute Teacher ($137/day):  NYS Teacher Certification Required

Non-Certified Substitute Teacher ($132/day):  Bachelor's Degree Required

$137/per day
Substitute Nurse

Call in to fill in as needed across the district

$27.50/hour
