Responsibilities:
• Provide instructional leadership aligned with district goals, curriculum standards, and best practices in elementary education.
• Supervise, support, and evaluate instructional and support staff; promote continuous professional growth.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Use data to inform instructional decisions and improve student outcomes.
• Partner with families and community stakeholders to support student learning and well-being.
• Oversee school operations, including budgeting, scheduling, facilities, and compliance with district and state regulations.
• Lead and support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), special education services, and intervention programs.
• Promote positive school climate, student engagement, and restorative practices.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of five (5) successful years of classroom teaching experience.
• New York State certification in School Building Leader (SBL) or School District Leader (SDL), or eligibility for certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of elementary curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
• Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior administrative experience at the elementary level and/or experience with instructional coaching, curriculum development, and/or data-driven decision-making.
